Aadu Krevald



Aadu Krevald was born on June 10, 1939 in Tallinn. He is a former athlete(hammer thrower). In 1957 he graduated The High School Of Tapa and in 1963 Tallinn University Of Technology in department of Mechanics.
He started sports in 1952 in Tapa´s Sports School in dept of basketball and gymnastics. He started with track & field in 1954 and was coached by Endel Lukas and Ruudi Toomsalu.In 1957 he set the youth record of Estonia with 52.21 and was fourth in Soviet Union´s sparticad.
During 1959-66 he won 2 silver(1959-60) and 3 bronze (1961-62 and 1966) from Estonian Championships in hammer.
His personal best is 60.53 set in 1962. He belonged to the legendary team on "Kalev". He competed 16 times in Estonian National Team and has also competed at veterans European Championships and World Championships.
During 1963-92 he worked in Tallinn University Of Technology
as a Docent.
